Jang Geun Suk sings 3 OST songs for ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night’

It was revealed that charismatic actor Jang Geun Suk participated in singing three OST (soundtrack) songs for the highly anticipated upcoming KBS drama Mary Stayed Out All Night.
Jang Geun Suk plays the role of Kang Moo Kyul, a handsome lead vocalist and guitarist for a rock band. Two of the three OST songs includes Request and My Bus! These two songs will portray Jang Geun Suk’s drama character as a rocker who dreams of creating band music and illustrates his inner psychological conflicts.
Jang Geun Suk commented on the songs, “For this drama I ended up singing three OST songs and the songs are all so good. I want to show the audience OST songs that go along well with the drama. Please love the OST as well as the drama.”
Mary Stayed Out All Night is scheduled to air for the first time on November 8th.

Summary

南韓人氣漫畫，是曾創作《浪漫滿屋》漫畫的元秀蓮從2009年2月開始通過網路連載的最新作品，在南韓有著非常高的人氣。此後被改編成電視劇。由南韓演員張根碩主演，預計播出時間為2010年11月至12月。
“魏瑪麗”偶然與死亡金屬樂隊主唱“姜武傑”以及外貌、能力、性格全部完美的“邊正仁”相識而發生的三角戀故事，張根碩在該劇中將再次飾演一名歌手，出演劇中死亡金屬樂隊的主唱“姜武傑”，文瑾瑩（文根英）飾演“魏瑪麗”，金材昱飾演“邊正仁”。《瑪麗外宿中》是《浪漫滿屋》原著作者元秀蓮的新作，通過假想結婚來講述現今年輕人們對於愛情、夢想和婚姻的觀念。
電視劇版《瑪麗外宿中》由日本的ACCKOREA與南韓的KBS傳媒共同製作，將由《宮》，《戀愛結婚》等作品的編劇撰寫劇本，導演以及其他角色的人選目前已經基本確定。
《瑪麗外宿中》是著名漫畫家元秀蓮的代表作之前，之前作品《浪漫滿屋》被改編翻拍後也成為了韓劇的經典。《瑪麗外宿中》講述緣分總是不降臨的瑪麗遇上金屬搖滾樂隊主唱姜武傑（張根碩飾）新奇的戀愛故事。該劇由南韓KBS media和日本ACC Korea共同製作，女主角瑪麗人選為文瑾瑩（文根英），男二號為金材昱，預計在2010年11月首播。
童星出身的張根碩長大後似乎近年的作品都與音樂結下不解之緣，2007年電影作品《快樂人生》飾演樂隊主唱，2008年作品《七音符》也是同類型題材，電視劇2008年電視劇《貝多芬病毒》他飾演天才音樂家獲得不少觀眾好評，2009年大熱韓劇代表之一的《原來是美男啊》也飾演樂隊主唱一角，新劇《瑪麗外宿中》他的角色是搖滾樂隊主唱，形象相當吻合，若然最後確定簽約，他已是連續四年出演不同的音樂題材作品。公司表示已合約已談到最後階段並且張根碩也十分樂意出演該劇，如此一來這成了張根碩第五部與音樂題材有關的作品。
文瑾瑩（文根英）將在劇中飾演因父親事業失敗而過著貧窮的人生，卻始終不放棄希望努力生活的既實際又充滿樂觀精神的女主人公魏瑪麗。魏瑪麗在和一無所有的弘益大學嬉皮士、獨立樂隊主唱姜武傑（張根碩飾），以及外貌、能力、性格全部完美的邊正仁（金材昱飾）兩個男人進行了為期100天的假想結婚，期間發生了各種各樣的故事。
這是文瑾瑩（文根英）繼《灰姑娘姐姐》後時隔五個月重返螢屏，她表示：“儘管題材和內容都很奇特，但是主人公都是非常有意思也有魅力的角色。瑪麗的狀況是我平時沒有經歷過的，所以感到既有負擔又很激動和緊張。儘管會給觀眾們過分活潑甚至有些唐突的感覺，但我會為了讓瑪麗成為一個讓人沒辦法討厭的可愛角色而努力的。”她還說：“就像生活中非常頑強的瑪麗的唯一樂趣就是看電視劇一樣，我會盡全力讓觀看《瑪麗外宿中》的觀眾有著同樣的情感宣洩。”
文瑾瑩（文根英）為拍攝此片，在第二學期復學10天之後再次向所在大學——韓國成均館大學提出休學申請，並表示將在2011年完整地修完學業並畢業。

Promotional Posters for ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night’ revealed!

Scheduled to air on November 8th through KBS2TV, “Mary Stayed Out All Night” has finally revealed their promotional posters, aimed to deliver the individual appeal of each character.
Released on October 27th, the posters feature Moon Geun Young (‘Mary‘), Jang Geun Suk (‘MuGyul‘), Kim Jae Wook (‘Jung In‘), and Kim Hyo Jin (‘SuJun’).
The photos was shot on Seoul’s HongDae Street, a charismatic location which perfectly reflects the youth who have been casted to color this drama.

“Mary Stayed Out All Night” is scheduled to take the place of popular drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” on KBS. The highly anticipated drama stars Jang Geun Suk, Moon Geun Young and Kim Jae Wook. Earlier today, wedding stills from the drama were released and now a video trailer from KBS has been unveiled.
“Mary Stayed Out All Night” is rewritten by In Eun Ah, the writer of “Goong.” The original story is based off a web-comic by the writer of “Full House,” In Soo Yeon. The romantic comedy drama is a story about four different young adults finding dreams and love under a virtual marriage.
The drama will debut on November 8th through KBS2TV in the Mon-Tues time slot.
