Paris Hilton Beer Ads Declared Too Sensual For Brazil
Paris Hilton’s Devassa beer ads are declared too sexual for Brazil. Paris Hilton was tapped to be spokesperson for Devassa beer (translation: naughty) and filmed a minute-long commercial where she dances with a beer and a sexy Brazilian man watches. Now, we are not fans of Paris Hilton’s raunchy attempts for attention, but this is tame. Very tame. Paris shows more skin on a daily basis.
Not according to a spokesperson for the country’s Secretariat for Women’s Affairs, however, who wants the ad off the air:
“It’s an ad that devalues women – in particular, blond women. The problem with the ad isn’t a lack of clothing, but its sensual nature,” Eduardo Correia said. “A woman in a bikini on a beach isn’t necessarily sensual; it depends on the context.”
